To begin with, just want to say well done on the Cup.
Even though it would have been better for City if SPA had won ( made European qualification easier ) we were all pleased that ye beat them and brought the cup out of the pale again.
Secondly, Digger is the biz. He was hilarious on Tuesday night when he came down to defend the Shed end...........and everyone there loves him. He is probably the only LoI player who gets as good a reception from the Shed as our own players.
On top of his usual repetoire of dances, stretching his leg etc when we were singing "are you small or far away" he got down on his kness and started walking towards us in an "intimidating manner":D Legend!
Then the linesman came down to check the net and (unbelievably ) he was shorter than Digger. What does he do........he stands next to him, pulls the linesman next to him shoulder to shoulder and compares their hights ......... the place just cracked up.
Note to Digger:
Digger if you ever get fed up with living in the middle of nowhere, then you're always welcome in Peoples Republic of Cork.
