According to www.fifa.com and the ticket section of the FAI website the Bulgaria game will kickoff on saturday night at 19.45. This should help the atmosphere although will not suit those heading to Dublin from Cork/Limerick/Galway etc.
The Georgia game will also kickoff at 19.45. The kickoff time for this had to be confirmed by now anyway. That was always only likely to move by 15 minutes or so anyway.
The ticket section implies it has been up approx a week although a friend has been checking the fixture section daily for weeks hoping to take advantage of 5 euro flights to/from Cork if there was an afternoon kickoff. It is still down as TBA in the fixture section of the FAI website.

Looks like the Dublin v Kerry game scheduled on the 28th @ 7pm in Parnell Park has been moved to the 29th as a result of the 19.45 kick off.
Much prefer the evening games from an atmosphere point of view.
Czech Rep in LR and Slovakia in Croker were the best games atmosphere wise in the last campaign and both were evening kick offs.

only for selfish reasons i was hoping this would be 5.45. 25 of us coming over on a football club weekend, and was hoping we could get out and changed and head out again. ah well.

Thats confirmed game switched to sunday the 29th as it clashes with the game at croker. How times have changed as many times in the past the games would have gone on regardless of what other games may have clashed.

Plenty of time for that yet. Game was switched a few weeks ago but wait till you hear the diehards wanting to know why the dubs/kerry game is'nt in croker:)
I prefer the evening weekend fixtures for athmosphere. 7.45pm is just about right
