PREVIEW Several fitness tests needed for Cork
Cork City may be forced to subject up to six players to fitness tests ahead of Friday night’s clash with Shamrock Rovers at Turners Cross.
With centre half and skipper Dan Murray and Greg O’Halloran, who filled in at right back earlier in the week, both suspended, manager Pat Dolan could do without a minor flu epidemic sweeping through his squad.
But that is what has transpired on Leeside, and full backs Neal Horgan and Alan Carey, midfielder Colin T. O’Brien, winger Liam Kearney and forwards Kevin Doyle and George O’Callaghan are all feeling the effects of the virus to a greater or lesser degree.
