Ex Town manager in Sun today

I was reading an article today in the sun about home farm and one of the names thats involved as a coach nowadays is liam brien ex town manager. for the younger town contingent that post on this he was town manager for a short while after dermot keely left the club.(1994/95 season) He used to write a weekly column for the sun..

Does anyone recall Liam Brien whilst in charge of us??

Can't ever recall him managing 'De Town' and I've been following them since I was 7 way back in 88, twas a long time ago!! He must of been only in charge for a few games if he was. I remember bad ones like Con Flanagan and good old John 'F*ckin' Cleary!!! But just can't picture Brien at all. Even googled it and all and no results for him having the reighns of Longford Town.

im pretty sure he was manager after keely left. im currently lookin up old newspaper articles in the business library in town when i come up to that season hopefully i will prove you right!:p

Oh I have no doubt that your right martinho. Its just I can't recall him but I'm starting to forget lots these days!! Not a good sign I'm thinking!!:D
