If there is only 2 more, I presume we have a good few staying from last year.
Any news when the official squad list will be released.

Could do with some info about the friendlies on the website. Would allow potential new fans to see the club before the season starts. The website is where i would be looking to get my info about the club from but it hasnt changed since before christmas. I know i keep saying this but i do feel the website should be updated more often. Signing info, The award sporting won, more info on the DCU/Blanchardstown college scholarship, the facility in lusk and any other story related to fingal big or small. Keeps people interested and allows old and new fans to see what the club are up to.

Despite the lack of website updates a group of young fans are trying to organise a bus up to the friendly against Derry. I knew of the Bray friendly as well, first i heard of Pats though.

Information has to come out of the club. They're making a big mistake in failing to do so for the season ahead.

I heard about those friendlies too but only through the grapevine. Totally agree, info should be coming directly from the club and the quickest way for that to happen would be through the website, i would have thought

Thanks for the feedback. Believe me, I'm as frustrated as you and the fans are about the site. We took a decision recently to engage a new website provider in order to enhance last year's version.
This change is taking longer than I expected unfortunately. I have been assured that it will be live shortly. However, what I would suggest in the meantime that if any fans etc want to email myself John Fallon. I will send out regular mail updates with news of recent/upcoming events.
Thanks again,

Latest signings are:
Alan Kirby from St. Patrick's Athletic and Gareth Whelan from Drogheda Utd.League of Ireland fans will know Alan well but maybe not so Gareth.
He is 21-year old centre-back with ten appearances for Drogheda's first team.
Manager Liam Buckley said: "These are two vital signings for us. Alan is a player with considerable experience in the League of Ireland and is a huge addition.
Gareth is a someone I have been looking at for several months and am delighted he has come on board. He is a player I think we develop even further into an established defender.

The squad list (so far) is:
Darren Quigley (loan)
James Hussey
Brian Gannon
Shaun Williams
Gareth Whelan
Philip Byrne
Stephen Paisley
John Frost
Shane Mc Faul
Shaun Maher
Fiachra McArdle
Colm James
Conan Byrne
Alan Kirby
Daniel Corcoran
Ross Gaynor
Robbie Doyle
Eamon Zayed
Gary O'Neill

Also, there has been a pre-season programme scheduled but a lot of this is provisional. The weather is also having an affect on this but I will post it when confirmed.

We will also have announcements over the next week about two new teams within the Sporting Fingal club, namely our Futsal team and the Special Olympics team. More details on these will follow in due course.
Best Regards,

John Fallon

When did John Frost sign? Wasn't he on loan last season?

Was thinking the same myself. Did he slip in under the radar. Decent player.
