Don't know about tickets but somewhere between 50 and 70 thousand were there for Bon Jovi last year. I'd say capacity is around 75,000.

Surely standing is the best. It means you can get as close up to the front and you hear it best when you are standing and much better craic too. Why the hell would youw want to sit at an ACDC gig.

I wouldnt worry too much Paul just yet, you have two options, first is to keep an eye on Ticketmaster as they may put on another date as they did at the O2 and as you may have seen Oasis did this as well. Secondly, get to Wembley on the night and you can be sure there will be tickets around. I have been to many concerts, sporting events etc and have always managed to get tickets at generally a little over face.

cheers rock, ya i have tickets for the 02 but its seating in the skies, i wanted to get standing tickets for wembley. Unfortunately I didnt realise that level 1 was unreserved seating and that it was a case of first come first serve for where you sat, by the time i realised this the tickets that i had got were put back in general sale again as they only hold for 2 mins. Then when i went back i couldn't get any tickets only up at the back row. And im not paying £60 to see nothing.

I'd pay 60 quid to see Megan Fox & Jessica Alba wrestle naked in baked beans ????

O2 will be sound no matter where you seated as it is not that big. It is some venue for AC DC they will blow the roof of it, hope they have fixed the leaks from its time as the Dome :)

Got mine too, delighted :D
Was surprised to see the charge for the car park too. 30euro is very expensive, it was free for Bon Jovi in punchestown during the summer.

Save yourself the 30 euro parking charge and use the park and ride shuttle bus from newhall or goffs.I used it it for oxegen last year and found it very good.
I'll be using it again for AC/DC cos i'm not paying 30 euro to be stuck in a car park(field) for god knows how long after the gig!

just missed out tickets for wembley :(
according to their website tickets are still avaliable for wembley, gemeral sale and fan club member sales. It might just be a case that the website hasn't been updated yet though.
Got mine in Athlone this morning. :)
Was funny enough, luckily there was loads on sale. Im not that hard core anymore (more old and grumpy!) so I only went to queue around 7am for shop opening @ 8am. Was sat in the car outside the shopping centre and there was only 2 people outside queing. Happy day I thought ... few minute later saw the security guard come over chatting to them and they legged it. Turned out the shopping centre was open all night so people were already queing inside since the very early hours if the morning.

got mine as well. when do ticketmaster post out the tickets? I thought they dont post out until 2 weeks before the event?
Jofspring

Sometimes they will only post them out a certain length of time before the concert day but other times they will post them out immediately. I think its just a case of if you have got them by a certain amount of days before the concert then you should contact them, otherwise expect them at anytime.

Thats funny alright, luckily there was plenty of tickets around. I wonder how long will it take for it to sell out (presuming it will) and will tickets for the O2 in Dublin that are up on ebay come down in price. Nobody is going to pay those prices anymore with the avaliablity of tickets for punchestown.
Just checked ebay there, tickets for punchestown going for €229.00 each, also there has been 8 bids on a ticket, its currently at €88..... some people are advertising it as a sold out gig and the only place to get tickets but they are still avaliable from ticketmaster so don't understand why people are bidding on them. Also ebay should make them change the item description as it is not a sold out gig yet.
