Alright lads ive to do a poxy project on motivation or some **** like that I was wondering do the players still drink in the Montrose after the match? If they are there I might be able to offer one of them a couple of pints in exchange for them telling me about how they are motivated then again I dont suppose they are the best people to be interviewing about motivation right now.
Ill see you all Friday

Yep, some of them were there last Friday after Rovers alright. Pete Mahon is usually there until eleven or so.

Is this before or after they scoff down multiple bowls of sausages? It must be a tough life being a professional athlete.

There is a difference between being motivated and being able to do something, particularly when you are on a tightrope. Also, it is difficult to get out of a swamp when you are sinking in it.
I don't see anyone on the team not trying their best or not wanting to win and I bet that Robert McAuley is sick about missing that second penalty on Tuesday night.
The bottom line is that they got off to a terrible start to the season and there are multiple reasons for this.
All they can do now is to win all of their last 5 games, taking just one at a time, and pray hard about the other results, and that might not be enough. It's up to Pete to get them to be focused and give it a last throw.
By the way, Bald Student, I'm not sure if your comment means that you envy the players getting bowlfuls of sausages.
