A rumour around Longford is that Barry is being sought after by Shelbourne and Bohs...

Tripe if you ask me... one but not both... Bohs are healthy as can be with CB's, Shels perhaps...

I'd hope our historic Captain gets a contract and is at Longford for at least next season...

Surprised if Bohs could afford anyone, and Shels have a good defensive record.....

Also rumours we had him signed already though wasn't there?

We can't (and shouldn't) compete with the size of contracts that Shels or Bohs can offer. Look at Dwogs, Dundalkkk, etc (even Pats to some extent) and the financial sh!te they got themselves in trying to compete......

Obviously like to see them both stay, but as long as one of Barry and McGovern does....

Id say there's a fair chance we'll hang on to both of them. I think Ferguson's deal is all but signed, good deal for us i believe, he was approached by both Bohs and Shels..We have an option on McGovern too i think his loan was a technical arrangement seemingly hence the fact Pats couldn't stop him from playing in the final..

McGovern's loan was a technical arrangement as he could not transfer twice in one season...

it's probably quite a loss for you guy's in terms of McGovern's contribution to our season... but he didn't hit the ground running with Collins and it's something which may comeback to haunt Pat's and Collins especially if things go against EC....

Sure they've got Delaney, why would they need McGovern?

TBH he looked very poor when he was with us at the start. Maguire and Foley were established at the back and he couldn't break them. He was tried at right abck and looked ****. Fair play to him though.

Oh and Delaney will come good...:p

well if I had a team playing football against us I'd rather McGovern than Delaney... Delaney looks **** when dragged around the place... Maguire and Foley are the number 1 pairing there and Delaney is fook all when the ball isn't kicked down his long neck...
