Myler penalty saves Drogs
Drogheda Utd 1-1 Derry City
An Andy Myler penalty midway through the second half saw the big battle of the relegation strugglers at O2 Park on Saturday night end all-square.
Myler saved a point for the home side with his 68th-minute kick - his fourth goal in his last three games for the Boynesiders - to keep the status quo at the foot of the table intact as the league enters its final four weeks.
Yet again it was Myler’s strike partner Declan O’Brien who drew the foul - O’Brien had also won a penalty against St Pats earlier in the week and had claims for a spot-kick turned down in the first half of the match on Saturday night.
