I'll show some solidarity by trying to make it for 1ish. Dont act the maggot if you get thrown out-sure we can always meet up informally anyway??

was just going on what someone else said. i just agree that we should have some presence there. just standing around in city jerseys and asking people to put their names on an A4 pad isnt too much hassle, but if they tell us leave, we can just go outside.

Are you serious? This is your way of approaching things? Am I the only one who thinks that this would give people a bad impression of Cork City, especially when the majority of UCC don't know much about City.

Surely someone going to UCC can put more thought and organisation into this? How many of ye are actually in UCC? Gav, ccfcman, eanna, SOC, Xtreme Rebel and a few new guys who have posted in this topics. Bringing some guys from Elec Eng and Civil Eng to support and join in city songs when ye get thrown out is not the way to go. Ye have no right to go in there so expect to be thrown out and ruin any hope ye have.

Thats my opinion though.

there'll be no causing a scene, and we have every right to stand in THE STUDENTS HALL. we need names, this is one way to get them.

It's a good way to get them but have the Union actually rejected the idea for this year as well? I might call up at about one!

they havent but we're not "protesting"... we're getting names to make our case stronger.

one o'clock, city jerseys we wait til we have 4 or 5 people then stand inside and
try to get people to sign an A4? :)

ok as is tradition, its going ahead as organised as ever... un.

i walked around and saw one lad, no city jerseys and a space to put up the poster in my bag :D so if anyones still interested in doing this today, im just upstairs from the hall, in the internet access room.

theres nothing happening in the SC i think.

we need to get at least 6 or 7 people together, then we can come up with some ideas. maybe for an hour some day we could just scout about the place for people in city jerseys. give um a lolipop to join or something :D free stuff is always attractive to students.

if we need a place to announce plans or meetings or something, the noticeboard in the SC and the shedend website would be grand. (when its done, hopefully by next monday)
