Is anyone else annoyed that RTE have moved The Premiership to 9pm instead of 7pm. I thought 7pm was perfect, have the dinner watch the highlights then ready to head out. But now it means you don't get to the pub till 11 or after it and its not like you can watch footie in a pub after 10 or so without the sound be turnred off cause some band playing or someone wants to play jukebox.

I've slit my wrists and am writing a letter to RTE Sports with my own blood.

(Will this help?)

And the worst thing is the reason for it - being killed in the ratings by X Factor!

I heard its because the premiership is in crisis.

I hear TV ratings are very poor so trying to move to Prime Time slot to justify millions spent on the rights...

anybody who lets their bitch of a wife put on x factor rather than the football should be forced to give back their c*ck to the c*ck police or george michael or someone like that.

Throwing money at Murdoch should never be an answer to life's problems.

Agree but its not on till about 10 or 10:30, which if you read my post was the problem in the first place. Liked the RTE 7pm time as went you did go out you had seen all the highlights already and gave another thing to talk about in pub.

MOTD is repeated on Sunday morning at about 8am. I discovered this round about the time our first baby was born.
Aah pubs. I remember them from my youth. Takes me back it does.

I tune into 20 seconds of the Championship (no not that championship) on ITV at 10.30am on Sundays to show my three year old the team he calls Super-super Leeds being hauled over the coals by a bunch of lads from down the pub.

It'll stand to him in the long run.
