Nov 30 – Drogheda United (h)

Our good goal difference is an excellent boost for us, its like having an extra point over Pats, Rovers and Waterford. In the past it has always been our downfall.

The European spot is ours to lose, and IF (this is a big IF) one of Bohs/Shels win their two matches against each other we would have a chance of catching the side that lost both games.

I'd say 13 points would be enough to get us the Intertoto spot.

i hope we do at least slightly better than 13 from 21

hopefully four home wins, although i guess that Rovers could cause us trouble, they seem to be doing well at the moment (tuesday night's second half collapse aside).

if we really want to stay in contention for second we have to get something off Bohs on Friday and Shels late on, i reckon we're good for a point in both anyway, there's been little between the sides in previous games this season.

we're due a win against waterford, with a big away support 'bothering' Dan Connor.

Pat's run in is Horrific, and they've hit a slump, don't think they'll figure to be honest. Rovers are the danger for third, but a win at home against them should finish that race off.

fingers crossed like.

with pats losing last night..3rd place is in our hands now.....I think if we pick up anything over 11 points from our remaning 7 games we will get the 3rd place. The way the league has gone this year with all the draws then 3 wins and 3 draws should do us.....57 pts

to go higher we are talking about at least 5 wins and 2 draws....62 points..and that bohs lose their 2 game to Shels..thats just my 2 cent....
