What do u expect from a Mayo Company :D
Yesterdays Launch was a huge success with upto 150 people in attendance. The deal with Rival is light years ahead of anyone we have had before and as well as the benefits the club get from the large anount of gear they are getting the exposure we are getting from such a large quantity of sportswear being widely available is huge.
Most ranges of Jerseys sold out yesterday in the Headford Road Store and the amount that will be sold in the christmas period alone will be far in excess of the sales the club reached before.

The recession will soften the cough of the Designer Label Generation. The Gear is good quality its Rivals first venture into this market and people have very short memories as I remember us having top Quality branded Gear but you couldnt get it in any shop;)

The major problems with merchandise in the past few seasons have been -
(a) limited range
(b) slow delivery of existing stock
(c) limited amount of sales outlets
These problems have now been rectified. I would imagine that sales of merchandise could easily increase by as much as 3-400%.

i would imagine the sales a few days after the release this years compared to last years would be fairly big...a few casual Utd supporters from school have already planned to buy the away one!

Smart-arse:D. I actually went into the Castlebar store today just to see if they might have them coming in. girl said she could order one? Thats a pity cos theres a good following here and it would be good publicity for both the club and the brand :ball:

Went for a look at the kit yesterday, there were 2 guys in the queue buying the god-awful away jersey, and 2 more people looking at the kit. They have it in a good position, fair play to Elverys, as you walk upstairs it is the first thing you see as it is on the rail on top of the stairs. All we need is good weather and we'll see a scatter of people walking around in their jerseys.
Have to say about the away kit, the colours are rank, and also it is as if the blue stripe is ironed onto the green jersey, a couple of washes and it will deteriorate and look even mroe manky, but from what others say, it is a good deal for the club so beggars can't be choosers

Give Daniel a ring in the GUFC Office and see what he can do for ya or better still Loman Caulfield is the main man pushing it in Elverys. They had them in their store on O'Connell St. in Dublin last Friday.
