i bought a laptop recently and i wanted to transfer all me music over...so i borrowed a freinds portable hard drive and transfered the files on to it and then onto my laptop...but when i try and play a song in itunes now it tells me i have to locate the song before it will play (which i can do) but with 5000 songs i dont want to have to do this every time....any suggestions??

ta! :confused:Itunes has two sets of files. The music itself and the library index.
You need to point your itunes at the new location of your music files.
