The pain of Basel has been replaced by an urge to see the Boys in green again!!!!!!!I don't know about youse but I get twitchy when my next Ireland game is not on the horizon.......

..........still nothing from the FAI on the November friendly and it is only three weeks away. Had heard the Czech game had been agreed a while back but if so wouldn't it have been confimed by now???????

Does anyone know of any events in Dublin that might stop a home game at lansdowne that weekend? Or what about a prestige friendly aginst France or Italy?????

That's the spirit we need:)

I heard the Czech game is being planned for that play-off week but it does seem to be late to announce it.

You'll love Tallin. Cheap beer. Beautiful women. Stay away from that Russian barrio by the coast. Not only women ugly but place reminded me of what East Belfast would be like if the Chuckies ever got in: shipyard...sold to the Japanese... 'planters' all made unemployed to make way for the 'indigenous' people...

Apparently there's three games in the pipelines - China and Canada want to come here, and then there's the Czechs away. There was talk of a game against Italy, but that's gone now. Certainly running out of time to announce anything though...

Have you read Paul Rowan's 'The Team That Jack Built'? Now check out the prostitute scene for middle to elderly football administrators in the Czech Republic via Gooogle.com.

Total Balderdash. Absolutely not true.

That's why we played Poland in all those friendlies in the 60's & 70's not the Czechs. :) :) :) :)

Paul Peschesolido - was with Fulham when they were in the First Division - not sure where he is now. Jason deVos I thought was with someone like Darlington. Jeff Clarke, formerly of Pat's as well, though he doesn't appear to be in the frame any more going by that link.

Without being too unkind this should be fairly easy for us, espically at home. Nows the perfect oppurtunity to bring in the youngsters against opponents who wont intimidate them too much so they can get a good start to their careers. Also if Kerrs not using Crowe as a token gesture like I suspect nows the time for him to try and get his first goal.
