anyone know how to log someone off the box if you are logged on as administrator?

Also does anyone know how to kill processes that are running in different sessions(i.e. under different users) if you are logged on as Administrator?

If you have the same admin privilages (or higher) you should be able to log on, it will prompt you telling you that user X is logged in and they will lose unsaved work, and then it brings you back to the logon screen again.

Depends on what you are using in work, lots of different methods, Kill Process is what you're after anyway.

nah lads neither works, don't worry neil im not a sys admin hence hte questions. But the only way to log someone out is to go to adminstrative tools on the box, when logged in as admin and kill their session. Killing their session also kills the processes running under their name, its the only way to do it it seems.

You mean files opened on a server that are opened under their name?

can you not open the Task Manager and see what user is running what processes?

no not when your logged in as a different user, as its all session based, so only the user logged in can see what tasks they are running or the system are running.
