I agree Fahey would kick your arse, you'd never take him; though if Reid was allowed to use the crutches as weapons it could give him the edge. Either way I'd say you'd lose.
I'd pay to watch

Fahey is not good enough to play for Ireland.

Simple as that

I take it you came up with this statement having watched hours and hours of him playing, yes?

We'll see in a few months time how good he is...

I'd take Steven Reid on crutches before I'd take Fahey.

Don't see any problem with SkStu's post.

relax man.

i was pointing out the stupidity of Ciarans post in image form. Take it whatever way you want, and i dont really care if you find it funny or not.

Carsley is the obvious choice for the centre above anyone else including Andy Reid. Bite, experience, good form and very defensive. I just don't see any valid reason NOT to pick Carsley.

He's not mobile enough to play in Trap's system (4 man midfield).

At Everton and Birmingham he's played at the back of 5 man midfields.

He's a great tackler, but he needs the support of another couple of bodies in there at this stage of his career.

Trap doesn't seem to rate Carsley, or thinks he's past it or whatever, so I don't see him dropping one of Doyle or Keane to accommodate him.

As Carsley has made it clear, he only wants to be picked if he's playing, so it's hard to disagree with Trap's exclusion of him at this point.

I think Carsley would be useful if we adopted a 5 man midfield against Italy, but I don't see Trap bringing him in for one or two games.

Birmingham usually start with Phillips + O'Connor or Bent up front, unless they're playing with 3 at the back, that's a 4-man midfield
According to Sky Sports, the midfield against Plymouth on Tuesday night was
Owusu-Abeiye Carlsley Quashie Parnaby

"The 10 must if we are to qualify for the World Cup"

I'd be inclined to start with getting the points first as number 1?

why bother posting anything ever, then, if you dont care what others think? You meant it as a **** take of what ciaran was saying but at the same time, its not a joke at all. If you cant see that then there isn't much point in me saying anymore.

sounds good to me.

just out of interest Paul, and forgive my direct nature, when was the last time you actually contributed something constructive to a football related discussion on this site? Your posts seem to try to be witty or nitpick at what you perceive as mistakes but generally contribute nothing of note to any discussion. I think you may be trying to tar me with your own brush as i was not trying to be funny, per se. I was equating a ridiculous remark with an equally ridiculous image. And you seem to be the only person with a problem with this.
