For all interested TV5, the world's second most available satellite tv channel (after MTV) the France - USA match will be shown LIVE is most parts of the world with the rest such as the Americas showing it a few hours later.....
TV5 can be accessed by almost 700 millions in 165 countries over the five continents......... where French is often not even the second language.
In Ireland nearly half the population can access TV5 thanks to BskyB or to fta dishes receiving from Hot Bird (Eutelsat) or Astra AND CHORUS (cable).
Dublin being such a go ahead U.K. capital would not lower itself to watch anything but English language tv....................so all channels availed of by 90% of cable subscribers in the basic (cheapest) package have to be in English to comply with customer demands plus the 'must carry' TG4.
Anyone living in Chorus 'land' ATHLONE, MALAHIDE, CORK, MULLINGAR, NEWBRIDGE, SWORDS can watch the match LIVE on TV5 on the basis of being subscribers to the basic tv/radio (cheapest) package.
