Limerick U-20s v Carlow

Just to let ye know that Limerick 37 will play their final home match of the U-20 League against Carlow this Sunday. The game goes ahead in Athea and has a 2pm kick off

Limerick 37 were just pipped by Carlow in their final home game played in Athea yesterday. Carlow took the lead early on with a shot that beat Brian Collopy at his near post however the blues replied and a Jeffrey Judge free kick had them level at the interval. Carlow restored the lead in the second half but again Judge struck with another free kick. The visitors then went ahead a third time but despite strong pressure by Limerick in the last ten minutes were unable to come back a third time and had very strong claims for handball turned down in added time. :(
