It was Drogheda after 3 games. They beat Dundalk in 1982. Lost both finals at a neutral Dalyer. :D

There's 2 schools of thought here.

1. He plays his strongest team to keep them ticking over in the belief that success and confidence breeds sucess and the high performances continue.

2. He rests certain key players - some maybe carrying slight knocks or showing signs of fatigue in training - under the guise of fighting for cup final places.

Wonder will be play McGuiness tonight as he's suspended next week. McGill and Cronin may start.

Either way I' m sure he will make the right decision as he has made very few bad ones since he arrived at Bohs.

Whatever he does, it will still be a stong side playing for the win.

Who the fluck are Derry City Londonderry?

The first game at Tolka against Dundalk was mental....good oul days of both sets of fans "sharing" the Riverside Terrace/Benches....All hell broke loose at the back mid way through the second half after a few skirmishes earlier, Dundalk where leading 3-1 when it kicked off, my oul fella thought it was not a safe place to have a 13 and 11 year old,, so we headed towards the Ballybough end, by the time we got there it was 3-3, John Reynor scoring a screamer to level it....
Trouble turned him off LoI football for best part of 15 years, he only returned the night Bohs drew 3-3 with Pats at Richmond when Derek Swan scored a hat-trick.......
