He left shortly before I started going to games; never did get to see him in the blue.:(

Did he play much for Bray this year?

Not really. Think he only scored twice - against us (or did I imagine that?) and against Drogs last week.

He was mostly a sub. He started the first two or three games but then he was left to the bench. The goal against UCD in the 2-1 win was his first. EDIT: He also scored against Galway in the cup and then against Drogs last week.

AFAIK, he probably played between 20-25 matches for us. They gave his stats for the season in the programme for the Drogs match but my copy is upstairs...and I'm too lazy to get it right now.

Got his stats for you:

Played: 21 (League 15, FAI Cup 4, League Cup 2).
Goals: 3 (League 2, FAI Cup 1).

I'm sorry to hear this. Hope he keeps an interest in the game.

i beleive he has about 4(FOUR) 1st Div. medals North and South.
UCD,Newry (2) and Athlone Town.

I made a trip up to Windsor Park to watch him play against Linfield in the IFA Cup and he was at Belfield Pk. for our Sunday game the following day.
He asked me, in front of some of UCD players, "Did you see my shot over the bar?". I hadn't.

He was a great player and a worthy Premier Division journeyman.

He didn't get a medal with Athlone. We beat them in the play-offs that year. He scored, of course.
