After the boards rash decision of sacking McCue and with that the appointment of Doolin Dorghedas hopes of first a good cup run and second not only staying in the league but securing a decent position are both all but over. We havnt won yet under Doolin and although we werent exactly Real Madrid away from home we could play a bit at united park and had some respectable results (see drogs 4 Pats 2, and were unluckly not to beat bohs when we went down 2-1) now we can even beat UCD! The boards infinite wisdom doesnt seem to be paying off and all we can do is sit and watch as the headless horseman of the apocalyse gets ever closer.

Yeah while ye were consistently bad away from home & would get thumped the odd time 02 Park has always been a hard place for City to get a win.

I know ye were missing some players on friday but ye were still terrible with no fight or anything. Dunno who no.6 & 9 were but was amazed they played any part of the 2nd half.

From the outside looks like a sudden rash decision to sack McCue.

I thought all season that Doolo would end up getting relegated!!!

Hope I'm right, by the way!:(

I must have slipped my mind to add the trashing you got at united park under McCue, 3-1 and out of sight, and we havnt sollowed the pill of relegation yet and the experience of last year might save us.

2-0 even! (and twice at that...)

But then there was the 1-0 win in Belfield earlier, the 1-0 win in Drogheda last year and the 3-0 home win with the Seán Finn hat-trick as well, not to mention the famous 5-0!

Yez have yerself a fairly overrated manager up there was my point. No need to resort to childishly looking back at previous wins...

Im changin my tune, gonna get behind the manager and were gonna shoot our way out of this eL relegation fight like we have Butch Cassidy, the Sun Dance Kid, Ned Kelly, and Jesse James with us, mind you with Myler and Fabio up front we mightnt need 'em mangy varmets! We have taken Waterford at the RSC and now we've saddled up and lookin to catch pats with a hang over in there own backyard and that momentum should carry us into the sunset and beyond in Derry where we'll rob them of three points and effectively retain our status inthe 39th best league in europe!!???(ask Uefa) Yep, times round these parts are ripe for change, we just have to capitalise.:)
