Drogheda have been a total disgrace this season.

This is where we should have seen how good Doolin was, and no suprise he didnt succeed.

Limerick 1-2 Kildare.

Wouldn't take much from that result before next weeks match though if i was Shels fans. Limerick played a very experimental side tonight and where unlucky to lose. Could have won and a draw would have been a fair result.

Agree, Doolin is the worst manager in the league, both premier and first division and that takes some doing.

I can only assume that if you played an experimental side in front of your home fans that you'll go even more experimental away from home?

No chance, Limerick will be playing at full strenght next week. it was a nothing match tonight so mike was just giving some of the younger lads a run out tonight. Would have been nice to win our last home game of the season, oh well.

Why is next week any less or more of a nothing match than tonight though?

There is more riding on the match next week for more teams, tonights match was between a team finishing no higher or lower than 5th and another team that couldn't finish any higher than last so it affected no other team whoever won tonight. It wouldn't be fair to the other teams if Limerick have played their hardest against them and then throw out a weak team in such an important match. Also a full bus of Limerick fans going up next Saturday and lots of people making their own way up or going over after the Ireland vs New Zealand match so i can't see mike throwing out a second string team for all the fans that are travelling up, it would not go down well. Also the Limerick players will want to test themselves one last time before the end of the season. Don't worry Holidaysong :D

simply tried out a few (7/8) young lads at home rather then away in some hostile ground. Shoulda've won but a keeper error cost us. Nothing match, no one really pushed after, and again a great crowd for such a nothing match, now next week :)
