Going on consistent performances over the whole season I would have to say Paul Danagher.

Some of the new lads signed in June/July have been fantastic but it would be unfair on the players who were in the squad all season to say one of them.

Who is your player of the year?

Any chance of a poll?

Between Danagher and Barrett for me.

Danno for me, Wayne, Davey Ryan (lil) also having a good year, Tommy? solid.

However if there was another month or 2 left in the season then you couldnt look past Gary or Jason.

:ball:i would nominate gary sheehan simply because our improvement directly co-incided with his introduction to the team.if there was a league table from his first game to the end of season i believe we would be well on top.paul danagher gets second for his consistancy and goals

Tough choice really but anytime I've seen Wayne on the ball this year I felt like he was about to do something clever, necessary or impressive and he usually did. :ball:

has to be gary sheehan,we didn;t look like a team that could score regulary untill gary came into the team and since then we are scoring for fun.His performances against the bigger sides,namely dundalk shels and waterford were somthing special.

Wy don't u vote for one of them? i will go for Barrett..He has been the most consistent in the games that i've seen Followed closely by Dave Ryan and danagher

He went off injured about 15 minutes into his L37 debut at Waterford, or was it SportingF, cant remember ....anyway, that was the last we saw or heard of him - presumably still injured ?? :confused:

Anyways he was good, but not player of the year good based on a 15 minutes season!

What's a Wunsch??

Wunsch is the German word for 'wish' and it would truly be wishful thinking to expect him to get anywhere near a vote on this considering, as has subsequently been made clear, that he's spent much less time in a Limerick shirt this year than most of the posters on here have spent in their replicas. :p
