Will be going but not on the bus. Hopefully there will be a full bus to go up though and maybe a few more cars travelling up also.
As for this Friday,

I think it will be a close one on Friday. 1-0 or 2-1 to Limerick but more likely a draw the way Limerick are.
I will give you the fiver on Friday too. :) Any idea what time the bus will be leaving?

Honest belief eh? If you're going I see a 1-1 bore draw. IF you're working 10-0 Limerick. :p
3-1 Limerick. Kildare will get a penalty at the club house end before the break. :ball:

Its part of the greater conspiracy of the FAI to totally destroy the game in Ireland for fans and players alike....

Us 1/2
Draw 5/2
Them 11/2
Anyone tempted to double up a draw in this and the Dundalk game? (5/2 + 3/1)

Anyone tempted to double up a draw in this and the Dundalk game? (5/2 + 3/1)13/1 double. Could be value, especially if Kerley fields quite a few 'new players' as he alluded to in the paper, however, Dundalk really only seem to be troubled by young teams taht have bundles of pace that like the ball on the ground, so that pretty much dismisses Athlone.

Probably but........if they stick 11 behind the ball (which they probably will) then Dundalk are in trouble. They dont seem to have the right attitude to hold on to the ball, play it around and draw the other team out. Still say (and hope) a Dundalk win, but wouldnt be a bad idea to throw a fiver on it at those odds.

But Limerick are the best club in the world, we're just trapped in a league with teams that make us lazy. Champions League football in the Markets Field next year. . . :p

Not if you use treaty cabs at the weekend, you'll find them asleep in the boot while his brother does his 12hrs behind the wheel. :)

He's not sleeping! He's reading up on every topic that he can possibly be asked to talk about during his shift. A little about everything - that's all the taxi driver's rule book says he needs to know. It's how he expands on that little bit that makes him a true expert.

Is this match still going ahead, the weather has been awful today and yesterday?

Was thinking that myself but im sure our super sand and stone pitch should be ok.

1-2,
I Wouldn't take much from this loss to be honest. Felt very bad for Collopy for his blunder in only his second start.
Now for Shels :D

Losing, AT HOME, to Kildare is shocking. Sack the manager....release all our good players...sack the board...tell McCarthy to keep his money.
Remember the good old days lads, when things were very very bad....at least we could beat Kildare at home then....;) :D

1 or 2 of the newbies looked ok but nothing outstanding in a poor match. Only positive to take is that nearly 600 turned up for what was more or less a reserve team on an awful night.
As for the Bus to Shels, nearly 40 names taken so if you wanna go get your name in fast.

Only his second game this year. Had done well until the blunder for the second goal in fairness.

Yeah the keeper did make a few good saves before the two goals

In fairness, Kildare's first goal was a well executed free kick, which went over the wall and Collopy just failed to get to it.

Lousy on Brian Collopy. Had a fine game up until the blunder and he didn't have much in front of him to be fair. Two or three new boys would've been fine, but silent Mike F**ked with the spine of the team and we didn't have much.

Don't think it matters much in the overall scheme of things. No harm to get these lads some experience and seehow much they've progressed.
