the ref...the ref...the linesman...the linesman...if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle. We should be comfortable scoring at least four against the likes of Kilkenny, No excuses. We screwed up. No more hard luck stories please...lets just dust ourselves down and get on with it.If Queenstown, or any of our rivals screwed up like we have done we'd be telling their whining fans to get on with it, and have a good laugh at them.
At least as I write this, the incredibly up to date, accurate text tells me that Sligo are holding Kildare, but Galway are doing Bray!!

Kildare held to a scoreless draw by Sligo leaving us 8 points behind them but this should become a very manageable 5 when they are deducted them 3 points. And 2 late goals by Bray earn them a 3-3 draw and prevent Galway from climbing above us. Good night for the Blues!!

Whining is boring and tedious and smalltime but when legitimate goals are scored and disallowed for no logical reason then the complaints should spill forth, eh?

You're not Lims Fan in disguise are you?:D
I agree with you, but the main thing is not to dwell on things feeling all sorry for ourselves. Lets look forward to Sunday. Super comeback by Bray, and fair play to Sligo, so its still all very much to play for!!

Joe, just had a thought. Monaghan lost three points for playing an ileligable player but they lost the game in question anyway. What kind of a result did Kildare get in the key game here and if they got a draw or a win will those points be called into question as well?

I have just realised that we failed to roll over the weakest team in the country after me telling the slovenians that my team were great. Well we better stuff city on sun or it will not be a happy day by the adriatic sea.
C U guys soon.

Unfortunately it was against Harps and they lost , so no extra points to be deducted. Nice thought though!! Be interesting to find out what the standing on that is though.

Damn... still, if we shake off this seasons Dublin City hoodoo we're still in touch.

Can't understand this damn Dublin City hoodoo thing...they're no great shakes and definitely in a false position in the league. They have about as many attacking options as an inter-pub team, yet keep grinding out meagre one nil wins. I'd settle for it if the shoe was on the other foot mind, but their fans have to go to games, especially away ones, knowing that their side are only going to score once if at all, and any decent attacking side can break them down. We've got quality strikers, decent midfielders and the best centre-half pairing in the division, so c'mon lads, lets kick the foul mouthed jackeens where it really hurts them, by making them go home pointless!:ball: :ball:

Hehe; Limerick are actually my "second" team (family reasons, my mum was from Limerick), which is why I'm outraged at the decision not to dock Kildare three points. It means that if we win on Sunday, Limerick's play-off hopes are more or less over. If we lose, our chances of taking the automatic spot will recede dramatically. Draw's not much good to anyone. Blast.

Bah. Couldn't make it in the end, which is probably just as well. Defeat not quite as disastrous for us as it would have been for you, the Bray win could yet go either way in terms of its impact upon us. I still don't think you'll make the play-offs, though :(
Just back from Limerick, spent the weekend there. had a great time except the for the result:( . Good bit of banter with good Limerick supporters. No bitterness as with Finn Harps or Sligo supporters.
