I hope someone can help me with a couple of questions please...

I've a room booked in the Waterford Travelodge on the Cork Road (N25) for Friday night. If I remember correctly, this should be pretty near the RSC.. Is it within walking distance?

Also, will it be easy enough to get a taxi into the city centre after the match to celebrate/drown sorrows?

:)

Very near. Five minute walk maybe.
No idea about taxis, but you'd walk it in 25 minutes (with a thirst).

The same but slightly shorter. :D
The Travelodge is only a few hundred yards from the ground, and there's a new turnstile at that end now too.
A comfortable stroll would easily get you into town in that time too, I'd think.
The ground, hotel and the centre of town (as regards pubs) are all on the same road so it's very straightforward to get about.
And there's always taxis flying back in to town along the Cork road so it shouldn't be difficult to flag one down either.

Completely off the wall question but since it came up:

Is their an Eddie Rockets attached to that Travellodge??

Might have a bit of work down there next week but don't know where it is??

Just drive straight on past the RSC??

They're not attached but the Travellodge is behind Eddie Rockets and they share a car park.
