Didn't make it to this one, crying shame, would have been a great feather in the cap of eL football to have won the tournament.

Maribor, are you sure the back four wasn't O'Brien, Kenna, Peers, Powell? That would make more sense, pretty strange configuration otherwise.

Aye it was Sheridan

O'Brien and Powell the two full backs, Kenna and Peers in the middle.

Brennan and O'Shea on the wings, Keegan, Ricer and Cronin in the middle

I think this is a bad defeat, I know it is a friendly tournament and to give the young players in the league some International Experience, but they playing against players that are about 17-19 years old here, players that have not yet played with their clubs, some players are loaned to 2nd Division in Belgium.

I thought Ireland had the best squad of players out of the 8 teams, they should have won it, I am been serious here.

Is that them out of the tournament now so? Coleman starts for U-21's but not U-23's, strange.

Obviously there's a couple of better 22 year olds...

Very disappointing night. We were totally on top for an hour and Belgium rarely threatened, They scored after a terrible defensive mixup a minute after we'd hit the post. They then looked a good side. We equalsied with 10 minutes to go and that seemed to be it but a cracking 94th minute effort won it out of the blue.

It was a huge chance for a LoI side to make a UEFA final. Belgium did pick a totally different squad from earlier with players from Anderlect Standard Liege, Auxerre and Lens. However we deserved at least a draw.

I feel, that the squad of players is good enough to have that game 2-0 or 3-0 easily, Ireland should not be in the position to be 1-1 in the 90 Min and to play 1 striker at Home is also a bad decision.
