Why did Jeff agree to this if Jay is away??Whats wrong with the following midweek or the one after that?????Theres at least 4 other mid week periods when it could be on but Pats squeeze it in at short notice and knowing our best player is gone:mad:.Why did we agree to it???????.

You think this all pats doing? Couldn't be the next week as we're both playing cup semis and both would've wanted tht midweek off

Ok so maybe its not all Pats fault.the FAI (who from their silence on all matters you wouldnt think run this league now but they do) could have found a benifcial date for both clubs. As it is Pats get the date that suits them best and the club fighting relegation gets the short straw. There is a mid week after the Setanta cup semi that it could be played on,or the one after that which is around the last week of the season. We are meant to roll over and take this lying down as usual.Im not blaming Pats Dodge, ourselves who hadnt a backbone and didnt fight it more are to blame too aswell as the FAI who could have found a better date.

How do you think this suits us? We haven't had a midweek off in 2 months and the players have been crying out for one. No one in Pats wanted this game next week but it has to be played, and its set for then. Not such a big deal IMO

Lads not the worst thing this game going ahead next week would be worse it was left till Nov to play it as our game against Derry (oct 31st) will be called off if Derry reach Setanta cup final.
So by playing game now it rules out having 4 games in 2 weeks in Nov.

To be fair to Pats, they also have another game - against Derry I think - that they have to fit in, and if either/both FAI Cup semi-finals end in a draw, that is an additional game for one/both club(s) so when there was an early date available, you can't blame anyone for going ahead with it for next week

apparently jeff was saying we got out of jail in sligo - we have to be more positive and get points

this has been the same since the defeat at home to UCD!!!

really hope pats slip up again - but i think their bad run will come to an end on tuesday
