What do you want the FAI to do? Give them money to tide them over? The FAI have many black marks against them, but that's no reason to blame them over the more obvious culprits, the people running clubs.

[Source is RTE News, before that comes up]

do you think they will give us faz back as i am told by a commitee member that they still owe sligo half of his transfer fee.
the grass is not always greener on the other side faz.

LOL

Ive seen him play in a few matches now and hes not very good. He may produce moments of magic against bad sides but hes clearly lazy and never works back. He was a poor signing.

It will be very interesting to see who gets Shane Robinson and to a lesser extent Ollie Cahill ;)

he's an awful player. one of the laziest i've ever seen. must've just been a big fish in a small pond at sligo.

Whatever about the club, the idea of Paul Doolin going 'burst' is a happy one.

Maybe the bohs fans could hold a bucket collection for them in the ground. I'm sure after all the courtesy shown to them by the drogs they will make a few quid.

Should let bohs use the league trophy for the collection as they will be leaving with it any way

explains now why robbo signed a new three year deal last month, reminds me of cork giving gamble four grand a week and going under a few weeks later

Pity Irish football clubs aren't banks, the government would bail everyone out!

I'd imagine faz will be heading back to england. Noone will be able to match is wage expectations.

I was wondering what Drogs going burst would look like.

Nothing the FAI can do to stop clubs "investing".

How many clubs will be in the Premier next season? 6? 8?

I heard a RUMOUR (and that is all it is, so maybe I shouldn't post it, but what the hell) that the FAI did just that in the past week or two.
As I said, it's a rumour, one I heard on Tuesday so said nowt, but with all this coming out, there might be something to it

okay, retracted. I'll put it like this - who is to say the FAI hasn't already thrown a few quid their way.

thats bad news in fairness, drogheda did well in the european adventure and probably could have went one further next year had they remained as they were. Its a sad state of affairs when this happens.

Very serious allegation there. One which needs to be put into the public domain if true.......

Of course I'll bow to Galway's superior knowledge of getting the FAI to help them out ;) Who's to say Nick Leeson didn't give John Delaney a ............... nah, not going there
