League structure

Does anybody know how the lower leagues are structured here in Ireland?

I'd assume it's just the eL and then the separate regionals (LSL and the like). Unless I'm gravely mistaken, which is entirely possible.

It's more like a load of little hills than a pyramid.

Yeah AFAIK no obvious link between the eL & the non-league clubs.

There's no real way for a club to get promoted into the EL. They have to apply for election to the league and I assume the league decides whether to let them in or not.
