Anyone else pick this up yet? Genuinely think it's one of their better efforts, loving pretty much every track on it at the minute and I'd recommend it highly. Then again I also think Don't Believe The Truth is a quality album as well :)

heard it on myspace - first 6 tracks are excellent. Not given the last 5 a proper listen but it looks like they've improved on Don't believe the Truth. Just a shame they couldn't erase SOTSOG (bar Go Let it out and ****in in the bushes) from the history books because any critic (particularly middle class journalists) will always use that album as a reason to hate the band. Noel seems to be back on his A game just a shame he isn't allowed to write every track (or maybe he cannot be bothered - less pressure than before when he wrote everything bar Little James for the first albums).

I was expecting big things from this album.On the first few listens of it i thought that it was fairly average but it's starting to grow on me.
"Bag It Up" would be my favourite track so far.


Then again I also think Don't Believe The Truth is a quality album as well :)

Have to say i thought "Don't Believe The Truth" was a great album too.It was a big improvement on the 3 albums that came after Morning Glory.

Yeah its a great version probably better than the origional.

IMO Sunday Morning Call , Gas Panic and Who Feels love are very good tunes too , I actually think Heathen Chemistry has been their weakest album so far

I'll give you Gas Panic :D. The other 2 are well below par IMO. Morning call might have sounded better if it was stripped down, instead they went over the top on production.
