Hi lads,
I've made a survey to the League of Ireland. The theme is the current situation in irish football. Further there are a few questions to the media and a potential 'irish football magazin' . The survey isn't really long, just five minutes. Hope lots of you will participate - you will find the results find in the next edition of my magazin. :)
You're finding the survey in the following link:

I like the idea but i dont think it would ever work to be honest. An Irish magazine really would need to have local journalists, and that couldn't change.

The idea of an online magazine is something that crossed my mind myself. I said Id prefer a print edition but I wouldn't mind an online edition only either.
I wouldn't care where the "journalists" come from. A nice glossy magazine with plenty of pics and reasonably short articles would suit me.
A commericial magazine (the Irish Soccer Magazine) seemed to die before. It was a print only version.
Great survey, you seem to be better than the FAI at these sort of tasks :o

Completed the survey, would prefer print eddition & would buy it most every issue if I found was good value. Suggeted doing a cult heroes section also similar to what Football focus did ther a few years back with every league club only in print.
Hope it works out for you

Done, some very good questions in there and things the FAI should have on their questioners at grounds.
Would love a print edition, I would most definitely buy it every issue (if it was a good enough read)

I had a bit of a problem with the question, "What is the biggest problem of the LoI?" I think it's the clubs, followed by the FAI, followed by the factors listed.

Have to agree with your answers but I put down these. Lack of regular supporters followed by poor coverage by the journo's who focus on the premier league and SPL. Often see alot of work put into coverage of the coca-cola league 2 aswell.

They just copy the British version and change a few pages in most cases.
