Advertising enquiries are coming in a bit more regularly these days so I reckon it's time to knock the "Talk to Google" replies on the head and bite the bullet on a trial run. If you want to run ads on Foot.ie the trial rate is €10/CPM (€10 per thousand, or 0.001c per ad) with a minimum spend of €100, and these are the steps you need to take:
Decide how many ads do you want to run. Multiply by 0.001c to get the amount you'll need to remit to me. At the moment I only accept payment in advance via PayPal, account or credit card
Decide what period you want to run the ads over. Foot.ie averages around 40k a day, so you need to specify a period unless you want them all to run in a matter of hours.
Decide where you want to run the ads. At the moment most run across the site in 3 positions: top, middle (guest only) & bottom; with the exception of the blog. I'd be willing to target more accurately for a reasonable sale.
Get someone to do your creatives (ads). I don't do design myself and although I can recommend someone, they won't be cheap.
Submit the creatives for review. I'm fussy about what appears on Foot.ie, so no noisy or annoying ads. Or deceptive ads for that matter.
