Always nice to avoid defeat at the hands of dungdalk
A messy equaliser to get the point, but i'll take any any last minute equaliser.:D
On that performance Dundalk will have to improve signifigantly in order to stay up next year if they get promoted.

agree I think dundalk were good when we let them play in the first half but i think we played much better in the second and they were not as confident. somewhere deep down i think the feel they are not as good on grass as artificial

Get over it will ya. We've the best away record in the first.
That pitch in the KCP was awful but It's not an excuse.
If we hadn't of given away a silly free kick in the first half it would of been a different story. Anyway whats done is done. I'm still confident we'll finish as champions and never have to grace the KCP for a good few years.
BTW: Those Mon Dogs where lovely.

What did Robbie Farrell do? Sounds out of character for him.

Farrell got hit by one of your players. The linesman called the ref over and the ref then sent Farrell off.. I didn't see Farrell do anything, there were players shoving each other all over the place so maybe I missed something.

That is indeed true Magicme, still was kind of six of one type of scenario.

Must be your best season in ages,do you reckon you will take a few more scalps along the way??

One thing that struck me as a bit odd was how your players made a point of coming over and gesturing at the Dundalk fans after your goals. Our fans had been brilliant all game and got behind the team.We didnt abuse any of ur players at any stage.Surprised they didnt celebrate more with each other,or with the 16 or 17 Monaghan fans at the game

As I said, didnt see the incident myself Shep so cant really comment. Just stating what I heard.

Yeah we are slowly moving where we want to go.

And there was a lot more than 17 Mons fans here! (I know you were only trying to wind me up but am too happy to bite back)

We had thought of that but then was worried that when we would run out of Mondogs some hungry hures would take a chunk outta him. Thought it better to just go with a football character that might encourage young kids to think about football more.

Then give him a Dundalk jersey with Shields on the back, and the young Monaghan lads will have someone to aspire to:D

His name is Shiels and when he comes back to Monaghan we might just put his name on the jersey!

this time last promotion campaign, myself and magicme were at loggerheads over Monaghans poor results against our rivals Harps and Cobh.

We have an agreement now that although Monaghan still are a pain in the arse in Gortakeegan, that they will be an equal pain in the arse to Waterford and Shels.

Hope you keep it up last day of the season Witchie!!!!;)

Ha ha Shep, thats not fair coz cant rem your alter ego! Well you know we will put it all in against Shels and Waterford coz for once we have something to play for for ourselves. We want 5th place from Limerick this year. The way things are going with some of the Premier clubs we are thinking that 5th might be enough to get promoted!! :p

He is excellent and as you say will be in demand. There is also another brother Gavin who plays for Drogheda Town if you want to check him out?

The battle against Ireland's the growing (number) of obese kids continues. Is there a picture of this mascot to be seen anywhere?

Not a chance :p
