beautiful pass from crowe for the goal. he'll always gets the credit for being a great goalscorer but doesn't get enough credit for his use of possession in those areas, i've come to appreciate how good he is outside the box this season

Typical Roddy, giving Bohs no credit at the end. 12th win in a row, ffs! Sure, Rovers played the ball well in the first 20 minutes, but Maguire's sending off really changed things.

Thought Rovers were excellent in the first half, Bohs very sluggish. Kalonas took his goal very well though. As I've said before, Collins is a tool of the highest order.

What bright spark decided to leave the stand opposite the TV cameras at Tolka almost empty?

City 2 UCD 0. Easy win by understrength City side with 1 centre back.

Bohs about to win worst league in many years.

Its been a strange season, not vintage alright. In fairness they are going to win it by about 2 miles.

The difference is that Rovers fans always in the main stand at Tolka.

Even the relegation battle is almost over after Harps result.

Last years was worse IMO. Take out Pat's UEFA run and we would have a title run-in IMO. Corks money problems ****ed them up, they would have been in the mix had they still had Mooney, O'Flynn etc...Drogheda were poor last year IMO and won a poor league.

Bohs although not as easy on the eye are effective. No matter what way it is dressed up Bohs have dominated this league. I think next season will be diffs though. I'd say ourselves and Pat's will be in it along with Bohs until the end.

Yup absolutely. There is only a little chance for Galway and Cobh if they win the next game, because United has one game least an Ramblers two games least as Harps.

Bohs are one of if not thee best passing side ive seen in years.Their midfield and defence and keeper are outstanding. Its up front that lets them down i think.I thought Crowe and Fenn both times ive seen them in Terryland this year were liabilities to Bohs as they have no pace.If they get a decent striker they could probably get to the 3rd Qualifying round of the C.L next season.Bohs are the only side to pass Galway UTD off the park in the last 2 seasons in terryland IMO(even Derry beating us 4-0 didnt do it to Bohs level).fair play to Bohs.

Myths about Bohs this year:
We've 'bought' the league
It's the worst league in years
We play unattractive football (tonight maybe...)
none of the above are remotely true but if it makes you feel better about not being able to live with us, go ahead and tell yourselves these little comforting stories.

Bohs just stolled though the first half without a care in the world. That's not same thing as being ravaged by Rovers. In the second half Bohs switched into first gear and clinically put rovers out of their misery.

Could you imagine if Bohs went in all guns blazing. We can beat any team in the country in a relaxed fashion. I think our squad has the makings of the greatest Irish club side ever.

We are the break through domestic club the entire league has been waiting for. If you think I am spouting through my hole then consider this thread I began before the season started.

The future started there. I know things.

Disappointed with how Bray played tonight (nothing new there). They didn't create any decent chances. The only tough save Gallagher had to make was when a Harps clearance rebpounded off Doherty. :(

I would be very surprised to see Harps go down now. I think seven points is too big a gap.

No surprise that Bohs are going to win the league. They've been the most efficient side I've seen in years. Drogs won a lot of points late on last season, Cork were pushed to the wire in 2005 and ditto Shels in 2006, whereas Bohs have quietly chugged along, picking up points and not conceding goals. At the start of the season, all the talk was about how great Pats were playing but once they hit a slump, they got bogged down. Bohs haven't hit a slump but they haven't been at full strength the whole time either. They just get the job done and not in the dying seconds either.

What was the full-time in the Pats Sporting match?

The Main Stand is dangerous, and is partially sealed off for our glamour home games.

now that the table seems to shaping up, I decided to search for the pre-season predictions we done back in march.
I got the top 6 pretty much wrong but the bottom 6 is not far off http://foot.ie/showpost.php?p=894783&postcount=9

Bohs have been the best team over the course of the season but at times Pats have been sublime, its unfortunate they faded away as it would have made for a good seasons end.
Im delighted at our 7 point cushion and with us only 5 points back from Bray its possible we could catch them too. Id say Galway are the only team that could catch us now, they have a game in hand and can potentially cause upsets.

Bohs about to win worst league in many years.

I'd say Cork won a worst one a few years ago

Practically every year year someone claims "this is the worst league". Its nearly always a ****e league. Just because Bohs are running away with it doesn't mean its any less an achievement that any other year.

If Cork didn't get in to so much trouble and were still in contention for the UEFA Cup places I'm pretty sure pete would be singing a different tune. Bohs have been great this year, dug in when needed to and played other teams off the park. Not having a settled eleven for the majority of the season either, 22 wins so far says it all about how good this squad is. :ball:

This year's and last year's have been shyte, but usually it's been very exciting and the winner not known until the final minute of ther season.

But whats that got to do with the quality of the league

Derry one up after 15 minutes.

I thought it was a scrappy one for Wexford to concede. Could've been a penalty as well.

2-0 now after 18.
