out of that 12 hurya id say that only purcell aint and maybe the fairview lads.
im sure the rest play week in week out for there respective clubs.and in saying that purcell plays his fair share with pike.wasnt he last years player of the year for them?maybe a pike source could fill us in.think russell is in and out of the regional team but im fairly sure nearly all the rest play regularly every week.

Aidan Ryan had brought back credibility to the Oscar Traynor and should be supported. He is ultra professional.

id agree with you there.it was a bit of a shambles for the few years before he took over.at least he has a good spread of players from the various clubs.think its unfair to have 7 or 8 from a team like what was happening in previous seasons.best of luck to the squad for the season

Which Tipp team, TSDL or TNDL??
If it's the TSDL, their game v W.W'frd/E.Cork on Saturday week was called off, I think because they hadn't sorted a manager out yet!!! :o

Should be a cracking game. Kerry are pretty strong and will be going all out because they lost their first game.

My prediction. 2-2 there should be plenty of goals, worth watching.

Its tricky enough to find..your best bet is to ask someone when you get into Tralee..Its on the east of the town as you enter from Limerick. Its in behind an industrial estate, passing a ' council estate' on your left and down a narrow country road for a few mins and its on your left..Look out for the caravans near Mounthawk - they normally reside there all year round;)

who would you start down the left then bud?i dont see many other left sided players in the squad.he would be a better option down the left than boyle or grant or jossi.Who would you play on the left?

its a fine sized pitch, played there a few years ago around the same time of year and it was very heavy, decent covering of grass and a nice little stand there, not the best pitch in the world but not the worst

well i wouldnt play any of them 3 on the left anyway.but thats my opinion.you have yours.thats what this site is all about in the end of the day.is brock even playing with balla?havent heard much of him this season.Thought he was going playing rugby?doyle is a centre forward aint he?sure youl just have to wait and see who he plays sunday.if it dont work out with whoever plays on the left he can always bring back leo wong.;)

i think you could still play doyle on the left and have a stronger team with him in it than sherlock.just dont really rate him but im sure others do otherwise he wouldn't have a premier medal.as the guy few posts up says though, doyle was asked but turned it down. And now that you mention leo wong,he got in the oscar traynor team last year playing 1a with hill celtic and now he's playing premier he's not even in the squad.strange

would have to agree with all except for phealan . has very little football played this season . would probably be more effective off the bench . russel i think will do well between the sticks , has the whole package except a bit of height .

ya,its a strange one alright.how has he been playing with carew this season?pity that doyle turned it down.my opinion is he would have made an excellent partnership up front with cummins.

1 all poor enough game to watch mcgarry and cummins best of the limerick players cummins scored to level the game ,could of got another 2 minutes later to win the game ,ref was shocking gave kerry a peno for nothing which russel saved and sent off sherlock off with 15 mins left

id disagree with you there balbec77,i thought bit was a good competitive game.kerry were no easy side.thought kerry were better in the 1st half but limerick really came into there own after conceding the 1st goal early in the 2nd half.the ref was shocking in fairness, talk about home town decisions.made alot of dodgy decisions.great save by russell for the peno. limerick should have had 2 more goals.missed 2 one on ones to win the game.sherlock got sent off with only minutes remaining.it was nearly in injury time.2 yellow card frees.they were about the only thing the ref got right imo all day.i thought all 11 played well in the 2nd half with purcell and goggins being the best of bunch for me.guerin and cummins have the makings of a good front partnership.a draw was probably fair on the balance of play and with kerry now out of the competition limerick have it in there own hands against cork in the next game at home to progress.

Lads just have to say if he was a kerry ref.Went there a couple of years ago with balla i think in mjc.Ref a disgrace.Told the lads that he would book every player for balla before the game even started. Will also post this on mjc site

travelled down to game, thought it was excellent.did not realise kerry had so many former EL players.in fairness limerick should have won,had by far better chances and agree cummins, guerin look good up front.can not remember russell having a decent save to make with purcell and mcgarry very good at the back.as for the referee thought he was shocking no way a penalty.limerick looked well organised and hungry for it.enjoyed the banter with the kerry crowd near their bench, the kerry manager is a lunetic.

Great game to watch. Limerick prob should have nicked it with the two one on ones and at least now if they beat cork they can go through. mgarry was limericks best player. Thought kerrys best player was conway on the right. Referee was shocking, i wouldnt be suprised if he didnt ref a game for a year after that performance.
