Capacity is 3,500 but Derry sent back 800 tickets. These have nearly all been snapped up by Wexford fans.
Wait till you see the pitch.............
by the way....what will happen if it's a draw? Extra-time + Pens? or a replay in the Brandywell?

It live on a local radio station here in Wexford South East Radio. As far as I know it available anywhere on the web. Be warned though commentary may not be great (depends on who doing it)

Yeah. Try www.southeastradio.ie and if you can sit through 2 hours of the amazing commentary of Liam Spratt, fair dues to ya. Personally, I'd rather sit in a darkened room and stab myself repeatedly in the scrotum with a rusty fork, but that's just a personal opinion!

My opinion wouldn't be as restrained as that. Liam Spratt is Wexford's answer to............well, nothing really

Well Derry won the cup for the 4th time in a row. 1-6 (1-5 after 30 mins). Deery scored a screamer from 30yards, Morrow got a hat-trick and MOTM and young McGinn got 2 before going off injured. Very comfortable in the end. Well done SK and the lads.

Hopefully McGinn is just injured enough to miss Tuesdays game! Fully fit for next weekend if he wants

Dodge you're taking last Tuesday night's defeat bad. I can't believe you are rambling on about Derry City support. In the last few weeks that support has tarvelled 3 times to Cork, remember that's the equivalent of Pats making the journey to Derry 6 times in the one week. There were more City supporters there last night than Pats have had for some HOME games.
Great performence last night. Route to the final is even more impressive if you ask me:
Second Round
Derry City 3-0 Finn Harps
Quarter Finals
Derry City 4-1 Bohemian Fc
Semi Final
Galway United 0-2 Derry City
Final
Wexford Youths 1-6 Derry City
Goals For = 15
Goals Against = 2

Congratulations to Derry. Well win! But it was also a "must-win". Wexford wasn't a hard opponent.
Is Derry now qualified for next Setanta Cup or must they do play a play-off against First Division winner? I've read either.

Congratulations Derry, truly exceptional performance from players and fans.
Well done to our young team for getting this far, there will be other days. I trust that genuine football fans noticed our players never gave up for the full 90 minutes. We know we were 2nd best but not many teams would give as much when so far behind

Oldyouth as I've said on DC Chat well done to the club & all involved for great hospitality & facilities on offer. Great evening for a live game.
Youths play some nice passing football & your goal was well set up & taken, some nice moves down the left.
Onwards & upwards for ye's.

Probably crossed wires. We stand up for our chant of 'Shoes off if you love the Youths' which is followed by 'Sit down if you love the Youths' so as we can put our shoes back on again.
Last night was the ONLY time an opposition team were honoured by our rendition of 'Shoes off if you love Derry'. Truly desverved. Cork would have got it too, if we had known they were to sportingly applaud us off at Turners Cross after the semi.
One team that have visited Ferrycarrig Park will never hear it.......you know who you are

We didn't steal that, we had it already. We did steal your 'jump up' and 'turn round' parts though.
As it happens, I don't think we'll be using the 'turn round' one again. I think by the 2nd rotation most people had crashed in the seat in front of them. Turning round makes you dizzy. :o

Like two schoolboys, myself and holidaysong stared and nudged at a lady who we guessed was probably you, but in the end couldn't quite manage to greet a stranger with, "Hi, are you from the internet?" :o
I was easy to spot though in my red and white. :)

To be honest I was too busy running around trying to motivate our new mascot and organise a presentation etc to really notice hats! Sorry! You should have just started singing your name songs!

Possibly next time, with pink shirt and clutching a handful of flowers. I'll blend right in.
Mick's getting a bit of stick over on our forum regarding a certain paragraph in an otherwise very complimentary column. Seems he didn't like Derry warming up on the pitch.
It might be a bit early to be assessing last night’s game, given that it’s just seven in the morning as I sit on a plane bound for Milan, with 3 hours sleeping to my credit. But the urge to get it out of my system is strong. We lost 6-1 at home to Derry City in the League Cup Final and there’s no place to hide. In front of a record attendance, in front of National Television, we were given a lesson by Derry City. Maybe I shouldn’t be so shocked , given that I’d seen then given St Pats a lesson on Tuesday night when, but for the excellence of Barry Ryan in goal, they might also have scored 5 in the first half.
