I am not sure if many on here read the interview with Hendo this morning in the Examiner. I have to say that I was very saddened to read the article and more so to learn of how but he and the players feel at this difficult time.
There is certainly an air of gloom hanging around Cobh today concerning the future of Cobh Ramblers and I believe that it is in our hands now to save this club once and for all.
Many here have accused me of "stirring" when I lay blame at the feet of the Chairman, but seeing that he has denied an EGM requested by members to discuss the reasons behind the collapse of the Finance Committee, is just more proof, that the Chairman is out of touch and not willing to be upfront with the members.
There are many, I believe, that would be only too delighted to contribute financially to the club and others who would step up to the challange of trying to lead the club from the brink. But this can only happen if the Chairman and Committee stand aside now for the better of the Club.
It is time now to put the Club first ahead of any personal desires and egos.
