Don't they just have their squad numbers on the front, as their XL sponsorship was cancelled a few weeks ago?

I saw that. It's very strange looking. They look like those 118-118 guys. Wouldn't sticking on a charity sponsor be a better option? I suppose they bought the kits with sponsors on in bulk so they've got to do something to mask it.

It's all squad numbers, hence why Di Michele had 32 on his chest but Etherington had 11.

As an aside, one of the funniest football-related sights in many years for me has been the sight of corpulent Hammers fans with XL plastered all across their fronts. As if they needed reminding. :D

no i wasnt, i dont watch MOTD, so i just saw reports in paper, and saw a lad with "32" on his kit, so presumed they all had.:o
