Anyone see anything? Nothing in Tribune. But they're seemingly unaware that St Patrick'a Athletic Football Club exists. Or indeed, the League of Ireland.

I would not consider this newsworthy for another couple of days. As for the digs at the premier leaue to great games i seen Liv v Man U and Stoke v Everton great atmosphere at both and showed why this is called the greatest league in the world. We are unlucky that we are net door to this but lucky in another.

You can be damned sure you'll get the Scottish Third Division fixtures for the coming week in all the papers though

Irish Star on Sunday had a big page on the game as a matter of fact. And also a peice on Bohemians. This paper generally does a good accont of the league.
Irish Mail on Sunday always has a big article for league of Ireland every week. Some times very good reading. Today was about Glen Crowe beating the goalscoring record at Dalymount(yawn).
Can't really add any more. Read every paper on a sunday and its hard to remember them all.

There'll be Irish media over in Berlin, that's for sure.
I wouldn't get too worked up about previews until Tuesday.

Sure RTE aren't covering the game are they? I think that is a complete and utter disgrace!

If that's the same Peter Stauton that I know who wrote the article above then he is a member of this site.

what goalscoring record did he beat? sorry to bring that somewhat off topic.
but after i wrote a strongly worded letter to the the tribune last week about its lack of coverage and snide remarks at the league of ireland they asked me to write a piece for the paper for this sunday. so that will be in the paper this sunday. if any of you want to write pieces for the paper getting stuff off your chest about the poor media coverage of the league etc etc e-mail the sports department of the sunday tribune to see if they will take your piece. its really more pro active than bashing it on here, get your voices heard??
