Could anybody tell me if a Paul Nelson ever played in Ireland. Ive a room mate here in America who says he played here circa late 70s and 80s and is capped by Canada. Cheers

I can't remmeber him but would not remember every player in the league. He may well have played in the Irish League too instead.

Paul Nelson played for Shamrock Rovers around 1980-81. He was a Canada international allright. Think he was a defender.
