View Full Version : well......5-0!
Some scoreline infront of what was an extremely bad crowd from longford! Didn't think the game was overly impressive nevertheless town totally dominated the game! Thought Sean Prunty was fantastic and definately deserved to get his name on the scoresheet! Was it just me or did Patrick Mulvihill just get in the way when he came on, he had 2 clear cut chances and completely messed em' up, Should have brought in Adrian Murphy!
Good game, Great result!
Heres to another win on Friday :D

5-0, what a victory!!! Doolin must really be regretting jumping ship, and with UCD only 4 points behind, wouldnt it be ironic if UCD escaped the drop and the Drogs get relegated!

yeah 30 or so town fans and thats being fair but i wasnt surprised after the game tuesday.drogheda were never meant to score last night they missed a peno and hit the crossbar when it looked easier to score.

I unfortunately missed the game and the last 3 occasion we have thrashed a team, 4-1 to Cork (start of 01/02 season) the 4-0 thrashing of Derry this season and now this one. Unbelievable or what! Congrats to the boys and to Alan Matthews we salute you.
Roll on Friday nite and may we thrash the Galweigans!
30 fans wouldn't hav been half as bad if we were all together. There was about 7 of us in the away stand. It looked pretty pathetic

i could have sworn that i heard loud cheering at the end of the game on rte radio and it was hardly the drogs crowd who i heard all pi**ed off at half time so maybe like MUFC it is the quality and not the quantity of supporters that counted.
Yeah i noticed it sounded alot louder on tv3 on monday night or that may be the **** quality of my tv
