Dell inspiron 1525, only 2 months old.When you turn it on it just says hibernating.Any ideas how to turn it back to on?

Firstly make sure that when you are switching it off that all power is cut to the laptop. Do this by holding the On /Off button until it cuts out.
Try restrting it then and see what happens
If that doesnt work then try below
When you start the laptop try pressing F5 until you get a list of options and then enter in safe mode and see if that works.
If it works then disable Hibernation as it is the worst thing Microsoft ever put in an operating system

Thanks Battery Rover:cool:,the F5 button did the trick.
Is turning off the sleep button the same as hibernate ?

Not the same.
What operating system are you using and I will tell you how to turn it off
