Whatever happened to Joe Gallen?

Was wondering whatever happened to Joe Gallen, when you think that himself and his brother played for Ireland and then Kevin played for England. I remember him scoring a fine headed goal against Shels in Tolka. He got a good few goals that season as far as I can remember.
