We were awful tonight! He sat on his hole for all of the game didnt encourage the player's at all.
I have never seen a manager get as much abuse from his own supporters as Keely got tonight. At the end of the day the man juat cant hack it anymore.

What a complete lánger ..... How many games was that, three ... four ?!?! Doesn't instill any confidence in him as a manager. Cant see any club touching him with a barge pole now.

Hope someone solid goes to Derry now .... There has been alot of movement lately, does anyone know if anyone is being tipped yet ?

In his article in The Oirish Mirror last week Keely was at pains to point out that contrary to rumours that were circulating around the maiden city, he wasn't going to leave his job soon. If I remember correctly there was a picture of the quitter giving a team talk where he says he spent 15 minutes explaining his commitment to the club...

Wow, the saga goes on. I'd say alot of Derry players are happy as they were going to be on the dole in a couple of weeks.:D

Is their a job for him somewhere at County. He's always welcome at Station Road. Better chance of Alan Keely staying with us now.

Keelys reputation will be in tatters now. Suppose he just jumped ship so he not have to put a relegated team on his CV.

Dont think he was ever the right man for that job...Had to laugh when i heard a story that the Derry supporters club invited him to address a meeting to explain his plans for the club and his philosophy on football..Dermot apparently sent back a two word reply.."f*ck off"..Hope this is true.heard it from someone that knows Keely pretty well..Roddy Collins up next perhaps?!

Is that true ..... Are there any Derry city fans out there that could confirm this.

This and the two finger salute towards Galway United fans (i think it was them anyway) in the recent past is really confirming that Keely a bit of a tosser but also underlines that he is just not up to it anymore and really should not be seen in any eL club again (in any capacity in my opinion)

Keely walking out again? What a bottler ... no EL team would touch him now with a bargepole... for the record, what Eircom League teams hasnt he managed??????? (Cork, Limerick and Galway spring to mind, but could be wrong...)

Has heard the rumour he had left a few days ago alright. What a tosser. There's commitment for you. Is a pity because Derry have some sound fans. Hope they sort themselves out.

It's probably as well for Derry, his record there is awful and the style of 'football' they played last night was $hit. Whoever they get in will surely do better.

I had the second last digestive on Thursday so I assume they're all gone now!

Keely was never aproached by any DCFC supporters club AFAIK.

Cant believe a man with as big an ego as Keely's couldn't take a bit of stick at the end of what was a terrible disgraceful performance.

Some record 66 days..............the DEVIL in disguise?

For your information folks

Dermot Keely was manager of Home Farm Everton in 1996/97 when they were relegated from the Premier Division !

11 names are in the hat (I heard) for the Job........

1. Damian Richardson
2. Roddy Collins
3. John Cunningham
4. Liam Coyle
5. Paul Kee
6. Johnny Speake.
7. Assistant Coach of Portsmouth (no idea what his name is)

these are the rumoured names.........have no idea who the other 4 might be.

Keely never got invited by a supporters club to a meeting...not from ours anyway.

Gavin Dykes huh? Certainly the man to save the day (as the Harps boys will testify)
