Any fancies lads?

Thinking of absolutely lumping on Russia. Watched Wales last week and they were awful. Any thing to persuade me other wise?

Anyone want to cut and paste simple match odds forma leading bookies here (just for reference, as i can't access them in here...)

Couple leap out at me: Israel to win in Moldova (evens) and Sudan to beat Chad on neutral ground in Cairo (11-10.) Sudan aren't in great form but at are different class to Chad and all players are locally based so no release issues.

The draw between Italy and Georgia might be worth a small punt too at 11-2. Italy traditionally have trouble beating middling teams (and Georgia in particular) at provincial grounds. This game is in Udine.

Just remembered the main reason I was lumping on Russia was that it kicked off at 4pm and finished before any other game started

Croatia to beat England again? 11/8
Iceland + 1 to beat Scotland - 1/2. Scotland lost in Macedonia on Saturday while Iceland drew in Norway. Could go the whole hog and try a few quid on Iceland to win at 2/1. Kind of opposition Scotland never do well against (thinking a couple of draws against the Faroes in recent years too)
3/1 the draw between Azerbaijan and Liechtenstein? Liechtenstein have won in Baku before if memory serves. Hammered by Germany, but they can be a handy little team when they want.
4/9 for Germany to win in Finland looks tempting; Germany are usually clinical enough in competitive games, even if there's always an air of crisis over them in recent years.
7/5 Lithuania to beat Austria would be worth a punt if Austria hadn't beaten France on Saturday.

All those are with PaddyPower.com.

Right, here's some value: El Salvador 5-4 to win in Suriname. Suriname are pretty hopeless and home advantage is unlikely to change that. They drew 2-2 with Haiti and lost 7-0 to Costa Rica in their last game. By contrast, El Salvador lost 0-1 in Costa Rica and beat Haiti 5-0. I'd be lumping on this one.

Elsewhere, UAE vs. Saudi Arabia and Slovenia vs. Slovakia both look nailed-on draws at 2-1.

Can't see a thing on that footage, way too dark. What happens?
