the lack of posts (as has been said before) indicates the lack of interest - hope in this one
pats should be all means beat galway 3-0
cant see anything else - even with all the suspensions/injuries they have
Everyone is more interested posting in the GUST Site

I think 4-1 at Cobh put the dampner on most people.... it is looking a bit grim and Glynn sitting on the bench doesn't exactly fill one with confidence....

Shocking against Cobh last week, against high-flying Pats tomorrow, can only be one outcome - United to surprise everyone and take all three points!

It's on the GUFC bench, however the Doctor refuses to prescribe it! :D
We'll have 12 fit players for tommoroww. And 1 of them looking to make his first start in 4 months

Thats about 10 more than we will have. Some of them are probably in the pub as we speak.

So you're just going for 2-0 then?

15 pints a man can't hurt the co-ordination at the back.....

It will be just like us to nick a draw or win out of this one after what happened last week.I didnt realise Pats are down to the walking wounded,i hope they have a decent team out against Hertha and do well then but im A OK with them putting out a reserve team tomorrow night:).

Even if Pats turned out with 9 we still would be beaten and one of those was the mascot he would end up on the score sheet . Pats 3-0 and like I have said before first division next season .:mad:
Likely Pats team for tonight
------------Ryan------------
Brennan----Gavin---Harris---Paisley
Bialek---Lynch---Kirby--O'Brien
---Quigley--Guy---
No other first team players fit. partridge is just back in training. haverty is is 19 and just back. Fitzpatrick is doubtful. If others play they won't be near 100%

Think you meant Patridge and not Paisley for left full Dodge.
Paisley's another who's on the treatment table.

Tonight's eircom League of Ireland fixture between Galway United and St. Patricks Athletic has being postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.

Pats will most likely have their players back for the refixed game but this postponemnt is going to add to their fixture congestion so maybe its not all bad for us.Plus, gives more time for alan and ollie to be back. Also, for once the East got the worst of the weather.

If only cp flooded for a few weeks we might have a chance to stay up.
