I normally couldnt care a jot about the England team, but I really hope Bullard does well. Good player, great attitude, plays with a smile and hopefully will put the attitude of their overhyped players like Lampard, Gerrard and Beckham to shame.

Yeah Bullard has impressed since he came back from his knee injury last season. One of those type of players that while not as talented as others, is more often than not more effective.

i think bullard is a cracking player. he has done very well since arriving in the premiership with wigan and now that he has went to fulham he has worked up a brilliant partnership with danny murphy. hope he does put the overhyped players to shame

great engine, decent passer of the ball, great free taker and as has been said plays with a smile. A real likeable character.

Can't begrudge him this call up at all, still plays football like he can't believe he's paid to do it.

I like him, although not the sort of player England needs, they already have an abundant of players with poor positional sense.

Do you think he will get a run? Id say the Croatian game will be class

I don't think I can ever recall watching an England game and describing it as class. Don't enjoy watching them at all.

i could name about 3 quarter finals and 2 semi finals where the game was class in my view....coincadentally they ended up losing them all :) :)

Well surely Bullard deserves a chance before Stewart Downing who in my opinion shouldnt be left near the England team hotel let alone be part of the squad
