    All over in Serie A?

With AC losing to Roma tonight, it looks as if Juve will keep the Scudetto.

Imo, Inter are the only team that can really challenge them but they can be inconsistent. They beat AC 3-2, then drew with Ascoli (I think) a few weeks ago.

Juve were way better then Reggina today. They showed highlights of it on Setanta, they were brilliant. Del Piero scored a goal not unlike Harry Kewell's one yesterday.

The last straw had to be AC not buying in any defenders in the January window. Roma were all over them last night. Stam is absolutely useless and has been a serious gap in Milan's defence for two seasons now.

I just hope AC don't win it, as a club I can't stand them and with Berlusconi around. The guy just soothes his own ego with AC.

It'd be so ironic if Juve win with Abbiatti, on loan from AC, in goal.

It'd be all the more impressive too as he's been pretty dodgy.

Agreed, never thought he was the natural succesor to Sebastiano Rossi (wasn't he the AC keeper before him?). Buffon will easily depose him when he recovers.

Yeah, but... Rossi himself was not the most secure goalkeeper himself, and Abbiati never had a fair chance in Milan and spent too long on the bench to keep the highest level. Dida is no great goalie IMO, I still have to see his first game where he grabs every shot in one time (OK, he's good in penalties, but definitely overrated in general)

I don't like Italian football in general, too politics-laden. And Juve definitely not, they're a big bunch of gloryhunters. The club with most fanclubs worldwide cannot get its stadium half filled for the average Serie A game, that says enough.
I don't support AC Milan, but would prefer them over Inter and Juve.

Apparently their fans don't like the Stadio della Alpi because the stands are too far from the pitch, like alot of stadiums in Italy...

believe juve have plans to relocate to a new stadium.

was at the juve real game last year and atmosphere was incredible ... but there was probably more at bray v finn harps at the carlisle than were at juve v Maccabi Tel-Aviv

Remember Rossi from about ten years ago.he was my favorite keeper for ages, never really got a look in with the italian antional team, seemed always to be behind Angelo Peruzzi and Luca Marchegiani in the international order of things

Juve got 7500 at Juve v ajax last season.
juve are the glory hunteres team of italy. loads of fans down south etc
Torino are at least as well supported,if not better supported than juve in the city of turin itself. even if toro only manage 10,000 every week.
the delle alpi is a horrible stadium for football.soulless barren open and windswept. very unpopular. juve have been talking about a new ground for years but have actually done very little about moving or building a new one.

they could build bring the stands right up to the pitch through building a new bottom tier by removing the running track and lowering the pitch -like what manchester city did to the city of manchester stadium after the comonwealth games a few years ago.they could add 10,000 saeets to the stadium by that, bringing the capacity to c.80,000. but removing the top tier (which would otherwise become a 4th tier-surely that would be a first in world football?) to try keep the capacity realistic would be a better option.. anyway its all hypothetical
point is delle alpi is crap for football

There are plans to build a new set of stands inside the current Della Alpi shell I believe which would be right up beside the pitch (i.e. no running track) but would have a smaller capacity.

He was no.1 for about four years so he got more than a chance.

With all the respect to the Juve fans, but a bad stadium is no excuse to stay home IMO. They should take an example to clubs like Rovers... (sincerely)
